Parents and students:  Check my blog frequently for updates on assignments for my class.  We are currently working on Chapter 16 in our Physical Science book.  The students can expect a test on Chapter 16 this Friday after we have completed the notes and reviewed for the test.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Marcus Johnson, your child’s ninth grade Physical Science teacher.  I am looking forward to continuing a great year with each of you.  I intend on making learning enjoyable and meaningful for the students.  In order for learning to take place, the subject matter must be relevant and engaging.  I believe that academic success is a team effort between the teacher, parents, and students.  I am confident that if we all work together, then this school year will be successful.  I am available for conferences and/ or questions through the school office or via email.  My email address is m6johnson@scsk12.org.
